HÅG Sideways is an unconventional chair that perhaps
challenges one’s idea of what a chair should be.
The integrated armrest swings behind the back and
provides generous support when sitting sideways, and
you can also find a comfortable resting position, leaning
far back, supported by both elbows.
The large, comfortable seat lacks a defined sitting
position.
The seat is shaped so that it is comfortable to sit on
in several directions, with a gentle transition from the
seating area to the edge all the way around the seat. The
wide seat provides ample and good sitting comfort – and
due to the position of the legs, the chair uses no more
space than other stackable meeting room chairs.
A total of 98 percent of the chair can be recycled at the end of its life. HÅG Sideways contains no substances or surfaces that emit hazardous gases or cause allergic reactions – neither during manufacture or use.
